""Wish You Were Here" is a biography of Douglas Adams written by someone who knew him, and it is good but not great, in my opinion. The author obviously feels positively about the subject and is less than detached, which I consider to be a good thing. The book is wholly British in certain ways, which might come off as being positive or negative, depending on the audience. One quibble might be that some editing might have been helpful; the book could have been shorter without some asides that did not shed more light onto the subject himself."
